Barker Munro Recruitment has a different role which may be of interest to you if you have an interest in Motor vehicles and fancy a new career in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.


In this role you will be collaborating with the engineering team and will be responsible for the valuation and settlement of vehicles which have been deemed beyond economical repair or have been stolen and unrecovered.


The purpose of the role is to ensure that claims are settled in the most appropriate manner by engaging with the customer to establish a correct market position for the vehicle, utilising vehicle valuation guides along with extensive market research.


We are seeking candidates with a general knowledge and interest in motor vehicles and/or an understanding of insurance practices. So it may suit someone from an engineering or body shop background with an understanding of insurance OR a Motor Claims handler with a keen interest in Motor Vehicles.

You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships with ease. We are seeking applicants who can work within a busy atmosphere and who are self motivated and positive.
