An insurance claim is a request from a policyholder to their insurance company seeking payment for an incident covered by the policy.

£32,000 - £38,000
As the Claims controller you will also be required to maintain databases and spreadsheets covering the cost and frequency of fleet claims, fleet accident reports, goods in transit claims and EL/PL claims, process penalty charge notices / appeals and be able to assist in the preparation of company’s annual insurance renewal.

Liability Loss Adjuster

£32,000 - £35,000 plus car
A minimum of 5 years claims handling experience in EL, PL and Product liability claims is required. Working knowledge of property damage and personal injury claims would be advantageous.

You will also evaluate customer building claims (validity and quantum) from Surveyor reports and/or other relevant information (Policy and/or Claims Handling Guidance) and provide a detailed explanation to decline all or part of the claim with clear well communicated reasons.

We are seeking applicants with solid construction experience - a trade background will be considered but estimating/surveying experience within insurance is essential. Covering the Essex area.
