Barker Munro Recruitment offers an outstanding opportunity for experienced Claims Handlers seeking to advance their careers in the insurance industry with a top-tier organisation. 

Ideal candidates will possess good communication and negotiation skills, and able to nurture customer relationships. You will undergo comprehensive training and will be responsible for managing a diverse range of end-to-end motor claims, spanning FNOL, Recoveries, Third Party, and PI, to ensure prompt and equitable settlements for customers in line with the company's approach to claim ownership. 
We expect you to identify to deliver positive outcomes for customers throughout the claims process so excellent customer service is key.
The role of a Claim Specialist necessitates prior experience in handling claims within the insurance, financial services, or solicitor sector. For the first six months, you will work in the office to receive training and acclimate to your responsibilities. Upon successful completion of your 6 month probation, you will have the flexibility to work from home three days a week and spend two days in the office, offering a well-rounded work-life balance. Should you prefer spending more time in the office, that option is also available. This position entails a 37.5-hour work week from Monday to Friday, with three available shifts: 8 am to 4 pm, 9 am to 5 pm, and 10 am to 6 pm. 

Salary ranges from £24,000 to £28,000 depending on your level of experience, providing ample room for growth within the team and company. The start date is the 14th October, 2024. Experience & knowledge:
Prior insurance / claims handling experience from either Insurance/legal or Financial services. 
Proven customer service experience.
Problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Negotiation and influencing skills.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Good IT, numeracy and literacy skills.
