Barker Munro recruitment is delighted to be able to offer this opportunity to ‘work from home’ for an experienced Insurance Claims handler. You will be trained to be able to deal with a portfolio of household Subsidence claims.
Working as a Subsidence Claims handler you will be acting as first point of contact for clients and their customers, you'll support them with any queries, whilst achieving key milestones by maintaining a robust diary system. You'll recommend payments, produce client reports & letters, and liaise with contractors and other external suppliers to achieve the most efficient outcome.
You'll be trained to deliver an exceptional customer experience through pro-active management of subsidence claims which you'll manage to conclusion.
We are seeking candidates with previous Claims handling experience who will be committed to gaining the relevant knowledge and obtaining the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters` Cert CILA qualification. You will be organised, diligent and able to run tasks through to completion. Candidates should be conscientious and hard working in order to achieve the required results, as well as being flexible and adaptable during times of high volumes.
Applicants should have good communication and negotiation skills and be able to offer excellent customer service.
This role is a 35 hour week, Monday to Friday plus 25 days holiday plus BH. You will receive an impressive benefits package including healthcare, pension, Life assurance and group income protection.
This is a home working opportunity for experienced candidates across the UK, although if you're based near any of their offices, you'll be welcome to spend time there meeting colleagues and working in a comfortable environment.
