About the Role
Commercial Account Handler
Barker Munro Recruitment, the insurance recruitment specialist based in Kent, have been retained by a growing insurance broker, to find an ambitious and professional Commercial Account Handler to join their team.
As a Commercial Account handler, you will provide a pro-active high level technical and broking support to clients and offer best advice regarding their insurances at all times. Typically you will deal with the SME clients where premiums can be around £5,000 but there will also be the opportunity to work with larger premium accounts. As an Account Handler, you will have been dealing with all lines of commercial non-marine classes including, for example, Property, EL/PL, E&O, and PI. Additionally, as just as important, you will act as a referral point to the remaining team members for technical issues/queries as well as handling the more complex renewals/larger paying clients.
The role will suit candidates that are seeking the opportunity to progress their Insurance career and who enjoy building strong client relationships. The role offers great career opportunities in a growing insurance broker which is undergoing areas fantastic growth during 2024.
Applicants should have an excellent awareness and understanding of the commercial insurance broking market coupled with a good level of technical knowledge. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills whilst having a good eye for detail and being able to work under strict deadlines and pressures.
