Barker Munro Recruitment has a rare opportunity to work as a Commercial Underwriter to underwrite insurance risks, negotiate rates, terms and conditions for existing and new business, and oversee premium collection.
We can consider candidates currently working in broking or an underwriting team with great customer service and communication skills with an excellent telephone manner, and the ability to build working relationships easily.
As one of the Underwriters, you’ll have great attention to detail and accuracy, being able to deliver a first class service. You’ll have great commercial acumen and be financially astute, being recognised as a subject matter expert for your product range following completion of your training.
This role offers a competitive salary with an annual pay review and bonus scheme. Hybrid working is available plus a generous 27 days holiday plus bank holidays. In addition there is a good pension scheme, life assurance and a list of other benefits that you can enjoy.
