About the Role

Claims Controller

Maidstone outskirts

£32,000 - £38,000

Barker Munro is working exclusively with a long established, highly successful business which employs over 700 staff within their organisation. We are seeking an experienced Commercial claims handler to deal with all the Claims that arise within the company.

The company processes and submits its own Fleet, Goods in transit and EL/PL claims, directly to insurers not via the broker so we are seeking an individual who has experience in a majority of these risks.

As the Claims controller you will also be required to maintain databases and spreadsheets covering the cost and frequency of fleet claims, fleet accident reports, goods in transit claims and EL/PL claims, process penalty charge notices / appeals and be able to assist in the preparation of company’s annual insurance renewal.

You will process and maintain records of damaged goods and maintain client records covering the company’s terms and conditions of trading, of all driver agencies, recovery of Drivers Negligence claims, and insurance driver requirements.

There will be additional administration responsibilities so the successful candidate will need Microsoft Excel and Word skills and be highly organised.

This is a superb role offering a rare chance to work in-house looking after all the claims for this highly successful and well-known business.

If you would like to apply for the role, please send your CV to Barker Munro recruitment by using the relevant links and we can discuss the role in more detail with you.
