Exciting personal lines home insurance policy role with an independent insurance broker

Exceptional City based Broking role for a proven individual who wants to join a growing brokerage to enhance and further their career.

The large loss Claims handler will be expected to travel to policyholders’ homes addresses 2 to 3 times a week to assess contents damage, record all loses, value and negotiate claim settlement for contents items. The candidate may also need to arrange and manage alternative accommodation for policyholders.

You will be required to review claims and associated call recordings and portal messages, as appropriate, to assess and score claims handling and customer journey

This role will play a key part in the continued development of their offering to their clients, including driving and building key relationships across their market as they look to satisfy their clients’ needs and grow the account. It will also mean strong collaboration across the business working to create opportunities across the mid, large corporate space including multinational aspects

It will require a good technical underwriting knowledge in the Property and/or Casualty lines of business, as you will be responsible for underwriting key accounts, driving intelligent new business growth and acting as a senior authority holder within the business. You will also be responsible for supporting the wider progression of the Multinational team by providing training and development for less experienced team members.
