Exciting personal lines home insurance policy role with an independent insurance broker

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a challenging role and make a significant impact on the success of the team. You will be responsible for underwriting Construction risks with associated Casualty/Liability covers, ensuring customer business growth and retention.

As a Corporate Account Handler, your role will be to support the Client Executives in providing high-quality service to our clients. This includes preparing and submitting accurate market presentations and slips, handling renewals, and administering mid-term changes. You'll be working on the full renewal process of large commercial Property and Casualty insurance programs, and your excellent organisational skills will be put to good use.  

We are seeking applicants with claims experience or insurance customer service in either who also have excellent verbal and written communication skills for this Motor Recovery role.

The role involves investigating, reserving, and negotiating settlement of complex and high-value personal injury claims ranging from £25k - £150k, including both litigated and non-litigated claims.

The large loss Claims handler will be expected to travel to policyholders’ homes addresses 2 to 3 times a week to assess contents damage, record all loses, value and negotiate claim settlement for contents items. The candidate may also need to arrange and manage alternative accommodation for policyholders.
