Barker Munro Recruitment is supporting a large insurer, awarded for being an outstanding employer, to recruit additional Third party Claims handlers.
Working within this role, you will proactively manage and efficiently process a portfolio of third-party claims. This will involve informing policyholders of the claim process and manage expectations throughout, providing the best service possible. You will review estimates/invoices and arrange engineering or outsourced assessments where required, reviewing documentation and raise payments in line with reserves and carry out a basic assessment of litigation documents and instruct legal suppliers and dispute cases where necessary.
As a Third Party Claims handler, you will manage highways, rail, street furniture and property damage claims and outsource to suppliers where required. Do you have that flair for investigation and delivering the right outcome for customers? If so, then this could be the role for you…
This role offers Hybrid working where you can work up to 4 days a week from home after completing the first 2/3 months. They operate a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday.
We are searching for candidates with experience of working within Motor Insurance claims and with a knowledge of the FCA requirements and Fraud controls. Candidate will have good communication skills and you’ll be a people-person with excellent customer service skills.
This role will offer £25,000 - £28,000 (depending on the level of your experience) and has an impressive benefits package including pension, 25 days holiday plus BH, discounts, hybrid working plus more!
